This year this was my second visit to Kumartuli during my stay of 2 weeks at Kolkata. Kumartuli is colorful and eventful almost always. There is a saying that goes like “we Hindus have 13 festivals to enjoy in 12 months”; and almost all of them need a separate kind of Idols and accessories. And Kumartuli is the one stop shop for all that.
I’ve posted both BW and color version of this image. Let me know which one you like better.
Venue : Kumartuli, Kolkata [ Calcutta ], West Bengal, India

Chase Alias' Feelings of Unfamiliarity ...No matter whether or not we are convinced of the information that is present to us, every bit is useless in allying our doubts about the likelihood of the photograph. Analyzing light, density and amounts causes logic and emotion to become dissociated amid a dependance on facts and feelings of unfamiliarity. -Ai WeiWei Ai Weiwei.
